Vodafone Portugal Launch Vodafone Care with EIP Core and EIP Web solutions
In partnership with EIP, Vodafone Portugal has announced the launch of Vodafone Care, their first mobile device insurance product. Available to customers who buy a smartphone from one of Vodafone’s 200+ Retail stores across the country, customers can now protect their smartphones from loss, theft, and accidental damage.
Speaking about the launch, Ed Hemburrow, Chief Operating Officer at EIP said: “As partners of the Vodafone since 2008, its fantastic to be working with such an amazing team as together we continue to introduce innovative mobile device insurance solutions into more markets and deliver the best possible, end-to-end digital customer experience.”

By deploying EIP Core for policy management and the EIP Web digital platform for customer self-service, Vodafone Portugal customers who protect their smartphones with Vodafone Care, can manage their insurance policies, make claims online and get them assessed, all without the need to speak to an advisor.
Vodafone Portugal joins Vodafone Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland, and Romania as the sixth market in the Group to launch Vodafone Care, with EIP’s market-leading InsurTech solutions.
